We had an amazing day with Alessandro and Unique Tuscany Private Tours. Alessandro drove us to Siena, Monteriggioni, and San Gimignano. All three towns were magnificent and the delight of our trip to Italy. As an added bonus, we even stopped at MichaelAngelo square to gain a view of Florence from the square. This was on our Florence to-do list, but we ran out of time until Alessandro made it happen. He was extremely personable, professional and knowledgeable. He constantly pointed out interesting spots along the way and told us all about the region. I would absolutely take this tour again and I cannot recommend Alessandro and Unique Tuscany private tours enough. It was an absolute perfect day!! Do not book with anyone else. And don't forget to get world famous gelato in San Gimignano.

Siamo stati 4 giorni a Firenze ed abbiamo fatto un tour indimenticabile nella zona del Chianti classico, abbiamo visitato piccole winery con produzione organica. Il tour é stato organizzato a nostro desiderio. Insuperabile, consigliatissimo.

Had a beautiful day in the Chianti area with Alessandro! Started with a quick stop at the Michelangelo Square and panoramic view of Firenze. Then additional stops at a local macelleria (meat and cheese!), quaint little villas, a lovely wine tasting at a small vineyard, and a second wine tasting + lunch. Perfect day!!

We had a great of experience with Alessandro as our guide.
We stopped at San Gimignano, then had a great wine tasting at Tenuta Casanova, and finally got to visit Bolgheri, with fantastic lunch and tasting with fan static wine.

In February We chose Alex because of his great reviews on Tripadvisor.

After the briefing we left Florence and headed for Siena. Alex was so helpful and enthusiastic, we realised straight away that we had chosen the right person.

During the drive to Siena he gave us lots of information about Tuscany. His passion for this beautiful part of Italy was infectious! We started firing him questions that he was keen to answer to satisfy our curiosity.

When we arrived in Siena he gave us a detailed map where he had highlighted all the major points of interest and also some places off the beaten track. Thanks to his instructions we were able to wander through the narrow lanes and take in the sights without getting lost! We felt as we were not tourists but Italians strolling in this beautiful city.

Lunch was another highlight. We visited an organic farm run by a charming local family. We ate 'al fresco', enjoying a stunning view of the Tuscan landscape and tasting delicious food prepared in front of us. And each dish was accompanied by a different wine! The meal was rounded off with some mouth watering homemade ice cream served with 35 year old balsamic vinegar. Eat your heart out Heston!

On the way back to Florence, Alex suggested we take in Sangimignano. It's a medieval village where you really feel you have stepped back in time. So beautiful! It was the perfect place to finish our tour.

This tour was the best part of our holiday.

Alex was very professional and was also great company. He went out of his way to ensure our tour was memorable and we highly recommend him.
