On the downside, we booked a room advertised as having a king sized bed. In reality, there were two single beds pushed together with a foam pad laid across them to simulate a single mattress. That was very disappointing.
We were surprised that there were not more available outlets for charging devices. As we hike our way through Italy we are very reliant on our electronic devices; being able to charge them all overnight is a necessity and it was hard to do that here.
The biggest challenge with the room, however, was the outdoor light that shone brightly through a window. There were no shutters or blinds to block the light (only a sheer curtain) so the room was nowhere near dark enough for a good night’s sleep.
