Compratore stai attento. Nessuno vuole un'esca e cambiare. Visito Ravello due-tre volte l'anno. Questo fa male al mio cuore.

Wow, please avoid Wine and Drugs if you can. I brought a small group here last month and what an experience. There is something to be said for the tastings that go from low to high and after becoming tipsy, (not by our own accord) charming and personable store owner, you succumb (read the other reviews). Not knowing this... we purchased over $900 worth of wine. Discussing the shipping, fees, etc to arrive in the states we left with an understanding that our bill was paid in full.
Fast forward our package arrives in the states and is held hostage for $180 in order to release it to us. The shipping company also would not release it unless we provided an itemized receipt to prove we had already paid for shipping.
Unfortunately, this experience really tainted an otherwise pleasant visit to this town. As a tour operator, I will be cautioning people about “popping in” here. Buyer Beware. No one wants a bait and switch. I visit Ravello two-three times a year. This hurts my heart.

We asked to use a bathroom and offered to buy a bottle. She said the bottle would cost 55 euro and no bathroom. We agreed to 55 euro for the bottle and she continued to be disrespectful, not allowing my father to use the restroom. Will never return. Do not come here.
Response to owner: “rude” means looking down on customers assuming that they cannot afford to buy anything from your shop. Everyone said hello to you and offered to buy a bottle of wine if you would allow us to use the bathroom. When your wine store has a 3.6 rating, I believe the reviews speak for themselves. The common themes seem to be “rude”, “rip off”, “wine has gone bad”.

Such an amazing experience here. We were able to taste all the wines, learn about the different grapes, taste the olive oil (Im obsessed with the lemon olive oil) and balsamic). Prices here are more expensive than some of the local vineyards and super markets but there's always a mark up - and for the experience, I appreciated it. I suggest giving the price range you want to buy, as we started off tasting $100 bottles of wine and were looking for something in the $30 range to enjoy while there... but when I return to Ravello I will be revisiting this place :) I also hope if I call, I can place an order for more olive oil and balsamic <3 #thebest

I’ve only been ripped off over wine twice in almost 12 years of living in Italy, so I guess that’s not too bad. In this case, I ignored all the very obvious warning signs and went ahead anyway, so my fault 100%.
For all the folks who have rated this place as 5 Star, I’m glad you think you had a nice time and bought exemplary product there, but my experience was more in line with the 1 star reviews, and there are altogether too many of these.
I asked, in the shop, for a good local Falanghina; this is a common Campanian white, which you can find in any Italian supermarket for between €3 - €10 a bottle. I was shown 2 priced at €35 and another at €70…first red traffic light. None of the labels displayed the word “Falanghina”, which is both the grape variety and IGT name…2nd red light. Should have walked out and gone to the local alimentari, but didn’t and bought one of “cheaper” offered. (I’m not against buying a €35 wine, but I’d expect the label to read “Veuve Cliqout”, “Brunello di Montalcino”, “St Émelion” or the like.) in this case, it read “Dysis”…google it for a rather amusing result. Later, I tried the website on the label…didn’t exist. Nor did Vivino have any record of either the wine or the vineyard.
So how was it? Right up there with a €40 Chateauneuf du Pape blanc? Nope…about the same as any €3 supermarket Campania white.
So there we are…lesson learnt. Pickpockets aren’t always low types who relieve you of your wallet and passport on a train station platform.

Found the place thanks to a friend recommendation. She lives in Italy and always has an incredible selection of unique wines. I once asked how she managed to find all those great wines, coming from different areas of Italy. She replied she actually gets them from one place only and that's Wine & drugs. So I had to go see it myself. Well, simply loved it!
The store is filled with an amazing selection of wines that goes from prosecco to red, from local to non local. Stela, the girl who runs the store, helped me find the best choices for me and I left the store with 2 bottles of wine and 2 cases to be shipped home!!!

What an awesome place! Stella is amazing - she has a great understanding of wine and the perfect sense of humor to make a wine tasting both informative and fun! They have really found the best of the best wines and put together in one spot! We tried everything from Prosecco to local whites to a big bold primitivo- it was impossible to say which I loved most! The store is decorated with wine cases with funny sayings! Definitely worth stopping by! We shipped two cases home -and it arrived in great shape abs actually very fast!

Dealt with this shop remotely from home. Needed a bottle delivered to a wedding party at short notice as another store had let me down. Really good communication from the owner. Grazie mille.
