Big Italian company, innovative products, GREAT Italian design. When you buy their products, under the 2 year warranty-NO problem. After the warranty expires FARO will deny sending parts to you for repair, unless the service is "Licensed" by FARO. I bought a SK07 autoclave in 2007. Great unit, in my opinion-far superior than MELAG or W&H. After expiration of the warranty have sent the unit twice to FARO for maintenance, because they didn`t have a dealer in my country. Now it malfunctioned again ! A local service center (ISO certified for maintenance of ALL kinds of hospital equipment) diagnosed the problem- a burned heater element. FARO refused to sell the necessary parts for repair, stating that the quality could not be controlled and the company is not certified by them!?
They offered me to service the autoclave at FARO. For this I need to send the 65 kg package all cross Europe and back. At my own expenses, of course plus the cost for repair. Or consider buying a new one.
I don`t think this is a way to treat a customer in the medical field!
I am Totally disappointed from their customer attitude and maintenance !
