We ate at the restaurant at this location called "Lo Scrivano" (aka Prickly Pear)
The view is magnificent. The room is cozy. We went here because our tour guide told us to. We were not let down. If you have a chance to go here it is well work the drive.
The view alone could of made it worth while.
We were greeted with a glass of champange and fresh bread.
We had bruchetta. To die for. Definitely not like anything I tasted in the US. They do it right here.
The caprese (mozzarella, tomato) salad was very good.
We had an eggplant pasta dish (we did not have a menu so I don't know the right name). For someone who does not like eggplant it was wonderful. It changed my mind about not liking eggplant.
As if that was not enough we. Also had a bass type fish. Breaded with lemon. Very tasty but not crazy about picking out fish bones and seeing the fish head on my plate.
Hubby had a prosciutto sliced on bed of mixed greens and mozzarella.
We split a cream cake. Good but I was way to full to enjoy it. Of course with a shot of lemoncella.
Beer included and the price was only 25 Euro each.
Service was very timely and pleasant. She understood English.
