Cercavo una casa per mia zia, Pierluigi mi ha aiutato come solo una persona competente e che ama il proprio lavoro poteva fare. Si è rivelato sempre cortese ed attento alle esigenze, molto esaustivo nel descrivere il percorso da intraprendere. ItCasa provided an absolutely first class service when it came to selling my beloved Italian molino. All through the process, I found Tracey & Pierluigi to be professional, organised and clear with all communication. I valued their guidance and above all else their honesty & support whilst selling the property from overseas during the pandemic. We just purchased a property using ITCASA as our agents. Pierluigi and Tracy were very helpful with the entire process. They are both fluent English speakers which helped immensely as we do not speak Italian. They showed us a number of properties and once we decided to purchase one they helped through every step of the process. Pierluigi guided us through the purchase process, assisted us in getting all the documents needed, got the utilities transferred into our names and even assisted in setting up our Italian bank accounts. We are also using them to get workmen to do some minor repairs to the house and to provide management of the property by checking on it on a regular basis. We could not ask for better agents and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase a property in the Arezzo area of Tuscany.

Buying a house in Italy is a minefield, there are a lot of unscrupulous agents keen to sell you whatever they can, for the highest price possible, with little or no scruples - horror stories abound. We were very lucky to be introduced to Pierluigi and Tracey @itcasa.it - it’s no exaggeration to say that we couldn’t have completed our house purchase and move to Italy (in two months, prior to Brexit) without them. Not only did they find us our house (after we’d been looking for around 6/7 years), but they helped us with buying it (at auction 😱), our residency, health registration, insurance, everything. We rented holiday properties through Itcasa, and Tracey and Pierluigi were always very helpful in sorting out any problems which arose. When we decided to buy a property of our own in Anghiari, Pierluigi was again very helpful in helping us decide on a property and making arrangements for a survey and assessing what renovations we would need to make after the purchase. Once we had completed the purchase, we retained Pierluigi to project manage the renovations required, and he was very good with suggestions to deal with issues as they arose.
