Ristorante Gusto

Siamo stati qui settimana scorsa con un gruppo di amici, scoperto per caso su The fork. Si presenta una bella sala, molto elegante e moderna. E soprattutto molto molto silenziosa ed intima. La zona bar e' spettacolare, divanetti e bancone molto appariscente. Lo staff molto servizievole e disponibile. Hanno molti vini famosi e piatti interessanti. Non vi sono tipicità del lago (ma non vorrei sbagliarmi). Piatti italiani ma internazionali, infatti ho preso una carbonara, devo ammettere, veramente buona. Presenta anche un ricco menù di zuppe, e pesce fresco. Prezzi: antipasti 13-14, primi 12-14, secondo 22-30, dolci 7-9, vini da 22 euro. Ancora poco conosciuto quindi spesso poco frequentato. Lo consiglio!

The food was great - we had carbonara and the Irish beef filet. The service was very nice but the food was a tad slow. It is inside of a Sheraton so the decor leaves a bit to be desired and maybe slightly overpriced. I wouldn’t choose to come here if I wasn’t staying at the hotel, but that being said it is a nice option for those that are.

Das Gusto im Sheraton ist sehr gediegen, jedoch mit dem unterkühlten Charme eines Hotelrestaurants. Von dem Gruß aus der Küche bis zum Dessert sind die Gerichte handwerklich ausgezeichnet, allerdings vermisste ich etwas die Finesse und regionale Bezüge. Alles ist sicherlich auf internationale Klientel abgestimmt. Der Service arbeitet sehr professionell und zeigt nur kleinere Schwächen.

Excellent atmosphere and service. The food was perfect, the portions were correct and the taste was exquisite. The pacing of the dishes was good, it matched our eating and conversation pace. We had the spaghetti pomodoro and the carbonara, both of which were cooked perfectly.

We were able to make reservations through Google, and the staff spoke English much better than our Italian. Would recommend to a friend, and will go back if we have the chance.

Friendly staff. Very good food. Large portions so be careful when ordering multiple courses. The Veal Milanese is Fred Flintstone size! Nice wine selection as well. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The young lady that served us was fantastic and very helpful.

They charged 6€ for couver and also 6€ for servizio(service) =12€ for nothing also the very important thing the food was not good you can eat at como for less money really better

Coffee leaves much to be desired. Overestimated touristic place :(
