We purchased a pair of sandals from this shop at two o'clock in the afternoon for €55. They were worn for the rest of that day, then worn for the following day. The day after that, it was noticed in the morning that they were falling apart in several places. Literally. Falling apart. We were leaving Venice the following day, so had no interest in the replacement pair that was offered. After a protracted dispute - during which an interfering local member of the public (who was nothing to do with the shop at all) got involved and joined in the argument - we finally achieved a refund of €45. Thus paying €10 for a day and a half of wear. We felt this was better than accepting a replacement pair of sandals that might well have been as bad as the first.
