Everything was so wonderful, the ambiance was really nice from the first moment we entered Giulio's house. We learned a lot of things about the truffles and we had a very fruitful truffle hunting. But even without finding truffles the experience would be worth doing it - the walk is so refreshing and the views of Florence are beautiful.
But the best part for me were the discussions with Giulio around the lunch and wine.
The experience is still alive in our hearts.

We really enjoyed the truffle hunting experience with Giulio. We met the sweet hunting dogs Maga and Tina and had a walk in the forest. Have to mention the views in the area are fantastic! Giulio was welcoming and informative, we learned a lot about truffles and had a nice lunch afterwards with conversations and music.

We enjoyed the food and also bought some delicious truffle cheese to bring home.

Highly recommend visiting Giulio for a hunting experience and to enjoy Italian hospitality. Grazie mille!

Amazing experience! We did a “truffle hunting competition” with the other guests at the experience. We really enjoyed our time with Maga, Scott and Tina (Giulio was great too! 🤣). The dogs are very intelligent and sweet. The lunch after the hunt was a great ending to the experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience and would definitely do it again next time!

We totally enjoyed the truffle walking experience with Giulio! We had the chance to each hold one of the dogs (Maga and Tina) while Giulio lead Papa Scott and we got to keep all the autumn truffles we managed to find! Giulio taught us how to observe the dogs to know when they have found the truffles and how to identify whether they are ripe. After the hunt, we went back to his place where his partner Francesca helped to prepare us a very yummy “light” lunch with their own truffles which was totally not light at all as we couldn’t finish it all! We also had a mini quiz and learning session with Giulio who shared some important knowledge about truffles. To top it off, Giulio and Francesca even gave us a very wonderful singing performance of some of the songs Giulio had written for his very own album! How talented are they! It was a super homely and fabulous experience and I 100% recommend this over other corporate experiences that you may find in Florence.

Truffle hunting with Giulio and his two dogs Maga and Tina was an amazing experience. We found 4 truffles on our hunt, which we got to keep. Giulo is so passionate and knowledgeable, he taught us all about truffles. After the hunt Giulo and his girlfriend Franchesca made us an incredible lunch with prosecco and wine. They sang us songs and we danced. A truly memorable experience. Thank you, Guilo and Francesca for a fantastic day.
