Just like any other poste italiane - incompetent/lazy employees and ridiculous bureaucratic processes. I came here to close my account and to withdraw my money, but the “director” referred me to a different office because they “didn’t have” cash to give me when an Italian customer before me had taken out 2000 euro no questions asked. I was able to do what I needed to do at the poste office near Piazza della Repubblica. This office is useless!

So small that if it’s raining you might end up queuing in the rain. And as with any post office you’ll almost certainly have to queue. Staff are friendly, but they have to deliver the standard assortment of mind-numbingly tedious 19th century bureaucracy that defines so much of how 21st century Italy works.
