Castel Reichenberg

Sono i resti di un castello, che come il sovrastante Castel Rotund, serviva a controllare i paesaggi tra Engadina e Val Venosta.
Tra i suoi proprietari anche una famiglia di Cavalieri -Predoni, i Reichenberg, appunto, temutissimi in tutta la regione.
Del castello rimane una alta torre rotonda e qualche parte delle mura.
Si raggiunge in salita con un sentiero che parte dal paese di Tubre.

Alte Ruine, nicht super interessant aber man hat von hier oben schon eine recht gute Aussicht in Richtung Schweiz.

A solitary tower, the only remains of Reichenberg Castle dating from 1150, was restored in 1998-2000 as a holiday house. After the restoration of the 2-metre thick wall, the designer inserted a 7-floor metallic cylinder next to the tower. The round system of stairs carries to the entrance at the third floor.

Worth the climb from the village. Fantastic views of the valleys below.
